The Director is conferred Administrative and Financial powers by ICAR. The Director is assisted in the execution and implementation of various programmes by Heads of Division, Administrative Officer and Finance & Accounts Officer.  The Institute Management Committee (IMC) guides and supports the Director by approval of programmes and investments in new areas of research. The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) and Staff Research Council (SRC) provide broad guidance in developing and implementing specific research programmes and projects.
